Saturday 4 May, 9.00am-10.30am
With Steph Donohue and Emily Hickinbotham
Join marine science students from Newcastle University to discover the wildlife of rocky shore ecosystems. Learn to identify different species and gain an understanding of how their distribution changes up throughout the tidal zones. All you need is to wrap up warm, don a pair of wellies and grab a bucket (if you fancy). All ages are welcome but we ask that children are supervised directly due to the uneven shore surface and the tendency of some wildlife to pinch small curious fingers…
Please meet outside the Dove Marine Laboratory at Cullercoats.
