Join Northumberland based photographer and musician Andy Craig for a guided walking tour along Embleton Bay to discover the inspiration to be found in the nature, landscapes and history of the Northumberland coast. Andy will talk about the inspiration that he enjoys from being surrounded by the natural landscapes of the area. There will be plenty to see as Andy will encourage the group to take the time to fully appreciate their surroundings, from the wide horizons and big skies to the beautiful patterns found in the natural world.
The walk ends at The Ship Inn, which is right by the sea at Low Newton By The Sea. If you choose, enjoy a lunch of fresh local produce and perhaps a glass of the pub’s own real ale, which is produced at the micro-brewery next door.
Distance: 3-4 miles (depending on weather and fitness of the group)
Accessibility: easy-grade walk. Sandy beach and easy paths (may be muddy). Some gentle ascent and steps up the dunes.
