With Louise Hislop and Dr Gordon Port

The Spetchells at Prudhoe are a unique site supporting chalk-loving plants and a wide range of insects. Join Entomology section-lead Dr Gordon Port and Louise Hislop for a guided walk beside the river and onto the Spetchells, paying particular attention to the bees.

This event comes as part of NHSN’s ‘Summer of Bumblebees’ set to culminate in the publication of the North East Bumblebee Atlas in autumn.
