Gosforth Park Nature Reserve Open Day

Once a year in the summer, we open the reserve to the public.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see this private nature reserve on the edge of Newcastle, which is one of the best wildlife watching sites in the area. Our next Open Day will take place some time in Summer 2019. Keep an eye on our social media for more details nearer the time.

Local experts will be on hand to talk to visitors about birds, plants, mammals and insects. There will be pond dipping, small mammals, wildlife spotting from hides and much more. Drop in anytime between 10.30am – 3.30pm, suitable for all ages and abilities (sorry no dogs).

Please note that the ground can be wet, muddy and uneven, so please wear suitable footwear.
