NHSN publishes North East Nature magazine three times a year to keep members up-to-date with the latest happenings in natural history in North East England. This full-colour publication is delivered to all our members and can also be downloaded from the Members Area.
A direct descendant of our triannual newsletter, North East Nature magazine aims to go one step further and bring you the latest natural history news, stories and discoveries from North East England. The publication itself features articles from all corners of the natural world – botany, birding, research and geology included, among others – and looks to give an overview of natural history in our very special yet underappreciated region. Of course, there will be the odd piece of news from inside NHSN too: including the latest goings on at Gosforth Park Nature Reserve, as well as interesting tidbits from our archive and home at the Great North Museum: Hancock.
If you have a news item, story or image you would like to submit to North East Nature or would like to pitch an idea for a specific feature, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
