Directions to the Natural History Society

Society Office & Library

The Society offices and library are at the back of the Great North Museum: Hancock, Barras Bridge, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Nearest Metro and Bus station is Haymarket about 300m away. The Museum only has parking for blue badge holders and staff, however there is a Pay & Display car park on Claremont Road, about 400m away. If you need to park at the Museum or make a delivery please call ahead so that we can arrange this.

Once in the museum go to the main lift at the rear of the building, beside the cafe, go to the second floor and then follow the signs to the NHSN office. Alternatively ask a member of museum staff for directions when you arrive. The NHSN Office is open weekdays 10am – 4pm but we advise you to call ahead to check that someone will be there who can help you.
