Andy trained as a graphic designer and is currently Head of Brand and Client Marketing at the University of Sunderland.
“I started to sneak into Gosforth Park Nature Reserve at the age of 12 to watch Great Crested Grebes on the lake – until the
warden caught me for the umpteenth time and gave me a joining leaflet. I’m passionate about the Reserve and the positive
educational role the Society plays for people of all ages and backgrounds.
“A love of wildlife has been a major influence in my life and I understand the benefits this can bring, both physically and
mentally. I’m proud to be part of an organisation that champions natural history, provides a voice for wildlife in the region,
and takes a lead role in educating and engaging people in the natural world.”
